Candidate David Norlin was one of 3 state House of Representative candidates and approximately 20 Democratic ncumbents attending the 2008 Topeka Roundup for Kansans for a Democratic House of Representatives.
The reception was held at the home of Representative Ann Tietze and hosted by House Democratic Leader Dennis McKinney. Special guests were Kansas Attorney General Steve Six and United States Senate Candidate Jim Slattery.
The event provides opportunity for candidates to meet with House leadership and discuss upcoming session issues. Norlin also was able to speak with Governor Kathleen Sebelius before any announcement of Presidential candidate Barack Obama’s Vice-Presidential selection.
